Nutrition Coaching and Counseling

Redirecting your eating habits into a healthier pattern is not a “one-time fix.” All of my nutritional coaching and counseling packages are designed to help you learn to make good food decisions for yourself no matter the circumstances and to guide you in building eating habits that will make you happier and healthier and support a positive body image. I don’t do one-time sessions, instead, we’ll find a package and time investment that is right for you.

Family Meal Package

  • 12 individual, one-hour coaching sessions, once per month by phone or video conference

Wellness Workshops and Training

Healthy employees are more productive, have fewer sick days and add greater value to the company.

Workplace wellness is more than a buzzword. Your people are your business. Give your employees and organization members accurate information and smart strategies to manage their own body’s nutritional needs and they’ll be empowered!

Nutritional education and nutrition speakers can help prevent chronic diseases and this creates a happier workplace, improves productivity and reduces costs. An article in the American Journal of Health Promotion reports an average 27% reduction in sick leave absenteeism, 26% reduction in health care costs, and a 32% reduction in workers’ compensation and disability management cost claims.”

The University of Michigan Health Management Research Center estimates that an organization saves $350 per person per year when a low-risk employee remains low risk and $153 per person per year when a high-risk employee’s health risks are reduced

Just like my one-on-one and family coaching, my presentations are non-judgmental and interactive.

Each presentation includes customized material such as handouts, workbooks, etc.

Popular topics include:

  • What to Eat When You Don’t Know What to Eat

  • How to Go Beyond Meal Planning and Eat for Life

  • Intuitive Eating and Gentle Nutrition

  • Developing a Positive Body Image Through Good Choices

  • Ask the Nutritionist! Q&A Session

Nutrition and Wellness Talks and Presentations

My nutrition and wellness talks and presentations are ideal for organization and club meetings (we can dissect the lunch menu!), conferences, retreats and any event where you are looking for nutrition speakers on topics that are important to your members and attendees.

I’ve worked with organizations such as California Women for Agriculture, Camp Royale and the Merced County Parent Institute.

In addition to the topics listed in my corporate wellness training, I am also often asked to speak on:

  • Food Facts, Lies and Fantasies

  • Nutrition and Good Eating Habits for Diabetes Care and Prevention

  • Beyond the Calories: Why We Binge, Restrict and Guilt Ourselves About Food

  • How the Media and Diet Culture Creates Negative Body Image Issues for Women and Men

Nutritional Consulting for Companies

As a nutritional consultant I can:

  • Create a custom recipe for your company using your products or ingredients.

  • Consult and advise you on nutrition grants.

  • Review and advise on nutrition and menus for your students or employee cafeteria.

I have worked with food companies such as California Lavash to create a diabetic-friendly recipe for them that they shared on their social media. I’m currently consulting with York Risk Management, a TPA, to help them increase the nutritional intelligence of their workforce.
